Fallon's day of birth began at 6:30 a.m. with her mommy, Radonna, and I trying to get her daddy, James, up out of bed to head to the hospital.  Since labor was induced, we had to be there by 7:30 a.m.  We finally told him we would call when she arrived, which got his tail up.  The doctor came in at 8:30, started inducing, and the fun began!!  We read, played cards, and joked around until about noon, when the labor pains began coming stronger.  At a few minutes before 3 p.m., James ran for the nurse as Fallon was making her appearance without the doctor!!  At 3:00 Fallon finally came out to join the world.  She was small, purple, and the most beautiful thing I ever saw.

Fallon came home the next day wearing her Christmas red velvet outfit bought especially for her going home.  She looked like a little Christmas elf...  Before going home, she made a stop at Nana's place of work where all the co-workers ooohed and ahhhed over her (naturally!!)  Instead of relaxing at home, the kids dressed her up and took her to see her great-grandma, Sue.  Since Granny (as she likes to be called) could not make it to the hospital to see her after her birth, the kids wanted her to see Fallon asap.  So, dressed in the sweater/bonnet/bootie outfit handmade by Nana, off she went to make her acquaintance with her "nana's mommy" (as she calls her now).
