My WOSIB Gardens

Since joining WOSIB, I have become involved in several of the wonderful gardens. Below are the gardens I belong to and enjoy very much.

As of August 1, 2006, I have become Leader of the WOSIB organization. Our previous leaders, Pamster and Becca, have both left due to RL time constraints and have amazingly handed the reins over to me and Idgie, my Co-Leader. We both are in awe of the huge task ahead, but are ready and willing to do whatever it takes to keep WOSIB going!

As of Sept 15, 2006, I am no longer a member of the following gardens. I hope to rejoin them again someday.

WOSIB Designers

In Designers, we make cards, websets, globes, and other creative things for the rest of the WOSIB group. We have a monthly challenge (and I've won several awards for!) that we all look forward to. I was awarded Designer of the Month for April!

WOSIB Quilting Bee

In the Quilters, we make birthday and anniversary quilt squares to share with those having those special days in WOSIB. In addition, we have a game called "Pas A Square", which is alot of fun!

WOSIB Celebrators

In Celebrators, we make webpages for members' birthdays and anniversaries. Gifts are made and saved in a file to add to the pages, as well as guestbooks so that the honored member has lots to look at and know that her WOSIB sisters are celebrating with her!

I was awarded Celebrator of the Month for January!!

WOSIB Big Sisters/Little Sisters

When a member joins WOSIB it can be very overwhelming to navigate the site, figure out what gardens to join, etc. Big Sisters take a new Little Sister under her wings, teach her the way the site works, helps her decide what gardens to join, and is there for her any time she needs her. After a few months, and the little sister is ready to spread her wings and fly, she becomes a Big Sister, ready to help the next one. I have 3 little sisters; Roseann, LadyDreamWeaver, and Jessica!!! Roseann and Jessica share my love of pixels, and LDW and I both enjoy doing webpages.

WOSIB TLC Garden

I joined the TLC Garden because I love making people feel better and special. We have 3 teams at TLC; Support Team, Spoiling Team, and Graphics Team. I'm on all 3...LOL Since becoming Garden Head, I help out in all 3 teams, but my own Team is the Spoiling Team. I really enjoy this Team; these ladies take precious time out of their everyday lives and send ecards and other wonderful treasures to 2 lists of members needing a lift, a shoulder to lean on, or just someone to show they care. I'm very proud of my team - they are the greatest!!

We also do cards and support pages in the Support Team (under the guidance of Lady Sessiie, the Team Head) for those members who have lost a loved one, illness, or a lift in spirits.

The Graphics Team makes cards of all types to supply to the rest of the WOSIB members to use in reaching out to our members. We're under the guidance of Tina, who is the Team Head.

What a fun group this is!!! Not only does it have alot of fun with weekly outlines and tutorials to do, but the ladies in there are just plain nuts!! LOL! I've really gotten into this fad and as long as most of my good friends are there, I will enjoy it for a long time to come!!

Garden Head

WOSIB Judging Garden

The Judging Garden takes a certain number of WOSIB member sites that have been submitted and looks them over. There are two teams, Advanced and Beginner. Each team looks at the same sites, compares notes and points, and then gives out 3 awards; Gold, Silver, and Bronze. My site won the Gold Award for Advanced in November! After winning on my site, I felt it was time to spread that excitement to another member!

I recently took over the Beauty Editor position - I've always loved writing for newsletters, etc!!!
