As a child, my grandmother had a wonderful quilt on her bed.  I loved to lay upon it and run my fingers over the embroidered square, imaging the many friends that pieced it together.  The idea of a friendship quilt is for each friend to take a muslin square, decorate as they wish, then put their name and date they completed the square on it.  I've always wanted one, but do not quilt. SO I'm putting up a virtual quilt!  If you would like to participate, you can download the quilt square here, already "stitched" and then email to me.  I will compile all the squares into a quilt. 

You may do whatever you wish on your square; you can show your hobbies, add a graphic you have made, paint, or even advertise your site!  Only stipulation is to add your name (first name is fine) and the date you've done the square.
