Welcome to my quilts page!

Who doesn't love quilts?? They were a staple of my childhood winters.  The thought of them now brings back wonderful memories.  Curling up in one close to the fireplace as I read my many books by the fireplace, snuggled underneath one (or two!) at night, all warm and safe. And I loved the idea of women getting together to stitch and talk.  Its a sad fact that quilting bees have diminished over the decades.  Its coming back slowly, but so many women do not have the time to hand stitch or even machine stitch their quilts anymore.  That's why I love being a member of the Quilting Bee!  It satisfies my need for companionship and lively chatter, only in a digital form.  I've forged many wonderful friendships in this group through the Bees and every last square I have were made with love.
